MEET SAMANTHA
Hello and welcome to Sam’s House, a 120m2 prepared environment for children aged 3-6, within a home setting that aligns with the Montessori pedagogy. The Montessori approach to education inspires children towards a lifelong love of learning by following their natural developmental trajectory. Children become confident, responsible, independent learners who trust in their own abilities.
As a Montessori educator I believe that independence is fostered by creating a mutually respectful relationship and environment, where your child feels safe and nurtured. Children are encouraged to be comfortable with learning from mistakes and through careful observations, introduced to new experiences at a time that encourages excitement and promotes success. I feel that being consistent and fostering freedom, within limits, creates opportunity for your child to be an active engaged participant in their learning. By truly “following the child” I provide a holistic approach to your child’s social, emotional and cognitive development having lots of fun along the way.
