I first started family daycare back in 1989 in a small Country town of Northam population was 7000. As you can imagine a lot has changed over the years. I had to adapt to all the new changes in schemes opening up and having policy and procedures in place regular visits from our schemes. I found this a huge challenge at first because family daycare was a family environment back then and families all new each other. It was word of mouth and I was working 5 days a week 7 children in care everyday. As time went on so many changes and it’s definitely for the better lots of programming workshops and networking. I moved to Mandurah the big city 8 years ago and I have found lots of challenges compared to living in the country. I have adjusted with change and I love meeting new families. I believe strongly in family daycare and always have the best interest of the children, I Believe open communication with families is very important. Each child is unique and I provide the best nurturing care for each individual . My programming is always up to date and on display for parents to read. I ensure you I will provide the highest quality in care. My aim is to always make the children feel safe and secure.
